I thought that Mr Ff read this forum, if that is the case he'd know that I am getting married on 11th July and going on honeymoon for a couple of weeks after (I'm sure I've mentioned it). You'd have thought he would have arranged his schedule around my wedding wouldn't you?

My impession is that book tour schedules are decided more by the publisher than the author, although the author probably has some say.

Looks like Leeds from the evidence so far. Dante, if you're bringing chocolate, that means I won't have to do it! It's rapidly turning into a Fforum tradition, and long may it continue. :-)

Once this is sorted for definite (which, of course, it can't be until Mr Ff is absolutely sure he knows where he's going to be himself), Skiffle and I will need to talk about trains... unless there is some kind soul with car space who happens to be travelling from, or via, Sheffield. If such a person exists, could you please give us a little wave on the Fforum and let us know? We'd be soooooooooooo grateful - thanks!

Looking at the tour page, it says details are released on Friday. Then we can sort out what we're doing. I'm definitely going to Leeds.

Dante: Whatever's fine by me. I may have to work some of the time but now lectures and exams have finished, I'm pretty much on flexi-time.

Ooh? Wonder if it's to do with the "upgrading" they're doing...

I see the confirmed dates have been posted now. Damn and blast, still can't make any of them! I think I'm going to be having a serious envy thing of you lucky people. :)

OK. Waterstones in Leeds is central - about 5 mins walk from the station. There's loads of restaurants etc around there.

I'll be going there from work and then for a bite to eat afterwards. If other folks let me know what they are doing I can organise anything accordingly...

oh got to go to Foyles to buy my ticket then, the king's head is walking (10 minute) distance from my flat so that is quite cool.

ooo and I haven't had the official invite yet, but my colleague told me I'll be in the team for the other launch... Let's say croquet is involved...

no idea when or where that will be though, so can't give any more inside info...
