My name is relatively common (500+) if you just use 1 forename. Bet there'd be fewer is I could enter my middle name. And none at all if I included the name I added myself.

There are several hundred of me, whichever combination of my names I use. My family call me one name, everyone else uses my middle name. I've met several other people who share my name. I went to school with one. I dated someone whose sister's name was the same as mine, first name, middle name and surname. Clearly I'm as common as muck. Now I'm going to check if my daughter is as common as I am.

I'm glad I'm not called by my middle name. Robert just doesn't suit me.

Did any of your clones want to contact you?

By the way, in LIAGB, people have to register their names, right? Is Thursday still one of a kind there?

It's only the fans who take on their idols' names (& perhaps other aspects of their identities) whom we are told have to register and take numbers... Ordinary duplication of names, due to chance (&/or family tradition...) is apparently still unregulated.

Yay! Back on the Fforums now that my degree is finally over!
There are 5 of me with my short name
253 of me with my long name (the one I am registered under in the electoral roles)
And 0 people with the name I'll be taking when I get married. I'm rare! :)

I graduate on the 17th July - afternoon ceremony which gives me a lie-in :D
Yup - I managed to blag an interview with TP when he did his book signing last month at Smith's. A full 10 minutes with him (and I'm still on a poing about it! A brilliant 2 and a bit months - I get to meet my 2 favourite authors!)
