Carla - many thanks, have emailed to blueyonder address.

Did the cheque arrive okay? The Dodo posted it on Saturday for me.

Debating whether to turn up as Miss Haversham or not............

The cheque hasn't arrived yet, must be here tomorrow, I will post you the ticket today.

I can do thursday (jeans and a ponytail), I don't have any dodo's but I could take my bear disguised as a rabbit for an outing.

No jeans and hair not long enough for ponytail so Thursday's out.

Suppose I could limp and be Landen if I can't face travelling up as Miss H on the train! But then, he doesn't 'exist' at the moment.............

I suppose the easiest costume would be to come as Acheron Hades disguised as you.

good point Magda...

Or I'll just be the Great Panjadrum ;-)

(Susan, the post had been and gone, so the ticket will only go tomorrow)

Now why didn't I think of that? Because I'm not clever enough obviously - Magda, it may just have to come to that!!

You'll just have to prevent anyone taking pictures of you, since you're not supposed to resolve on film.

Or you could always go as Cordelia Flakk. She'd be right in her element at a launch party.

Sue, I'm sure you have soem garishly colored clothing somewhere don't you? Hehehe, I'd LOVE to see you as Cordelia!

AAC - actually thinking of going as Cordelia last night but do not have the garish clothing - honest! All neutrals/navys/blacks/soft purples/greens - no garish stuff at all!

However, we do have a range of charity shops just under the offices here in Farnham and another really good range at home and people in Petersfield tend to have more money than taste...................

You were wearing red when I met you!

Yes - but that's not garish - that's just red! And is the only red I have in the wardrobe(s).

Cordelia is described as wearing something a 'milk-curdling shade of green' - I have green but not that shade! The sewing machine and the fabric cupboard beckon...........................................

I've got LOTS of film-fogging clothes. I specialise in fuchsia pink, cherry red, emerald green and royal purple, with the odd touch of brilliant turquoise. If I'm feeling really evil I wear them all at once. ;-)

So, Auntysassy, if you're around a size 16 and can get to Sheffield, you may borrow what you will!

Sarah - size is about right but can't get up to Sheffield - thanks for the offer!

I'm sure I'll find something in the charity shops that I can adapt/alter.
