Which Food-eating Battle Monkey are you:

[thesurrealist.co.uk]

as 'dakegra' (my usual moniker on the net), I score 4.7 (as a plastic eating sniper monkey)

Who will be fforum champion?

Thursday Next scores 9.3 (Haggis-Eating Magic Monkey), the highest score I've seen so far!
Acheron Hades (Gruel-Eating Cowboy Monkey) = 3.6
Jack Schitt (Cigarette-Eating Attack Monkey) = 6.7

And Jasper Fforde is a Beef-eating Moon Monkey (7.8)

Some people on the net are a bit strange, aren't they?

The strangest site I've found of late is this one:

Couldn't really say what it's about, even though I wasted hours looking round . . .

Using mine and my husbands real names I scored :

9.6 Man eating robot monkey (he got 2.6 Toast eating peace monkey)

Our respective log in names: he won with 6.7 Fruit eating laboratory monkey (I got 2.7 Potato eating librarian monkey)

Splendid site for fun monkey strangeness, but that nose site is one of the best designed and yet weirdest things I've ever seen.

(This has got to be a personal record for the number of times I've typed 'monkey')

Toon eh? Geordie lad is he? ;-)

There's a guy works here called John Toon, any relation?

His father used to be from 'up north', but he's from Lancing/Worthing area, and now lives in Exeter. (where's here? If it's Reuters in Tiverton, then that'll be my boy, if not, then I'm not sure!)

Here is Leeds, John works for our law firm in the tax department, if that helps? Just reckon Toon is a reasonably unusual name...

Hmm... might have to ask him, but it won't be a close relative (there's not much outside his immediate family that they know of due to a big argument before John was born)
But yeah, there has to be some relation there - I'd never heard of the name before I met John.

I can confirm that Jo is, indeed, a Beef-Eating Mini Monkey. "Brain-Eating Psycho Monkey" doesn't bode well for the Day of Bells... um...

Incidentally, I've come up as a Crumpet-Eating Assassin Monkey (Battle rating: 7.6). Sounds fair. But if I use my middle name - "John Howard" - I'm a Garlic-Eating Super Monkey (Battle rating: 9.4)! Rock on!!

Dave - you must remember, Earthman, I have been asleep for several million years and know nothing of these "Geordies" of which you speak. Other John Toons include a Kiwi filmmaker, an Australian naval officer, and a professor of engineering at Georgia university. It's almost depressing to find your otherwise obscure name is so widespread. It'll be even more depressing if, as may soon happen, I move into a career in tax accountancy - I'd only be the second John Toon in the country to do it. Gumph!
