New Forum solely for Well of Lost Plots

Hello one and all.

I've started another forum for chat regarding 'The Well of Lost Plots' so that American fforumites can still natter away without fear of having the plot(s) revealed...

I have imaginatively called this new Forum 'The Well of Lost Plots'

Your adherence to this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jasper

Adherence... that needs glue, right?

Of course, I shall be happy to comply. Ignore my sarcasm, I've been having a bit of a day this week.

Thanks Jasper!

While I'm not planning to wait for the US edition to read the book, it will probably take 5-7 days for my copy to ship from the UK, and I'd as soon be able to avoid spoilers until I have a chance to read it.

I wonder how many (hundred) posts there will already be in that fforum by the time that I've obtained & read a copy of WOLP...

I shan't be getting my copy immediately either - I'll be buying it at the signing session on the 16th.

I was thinking about waiting till the 16th, but I doubt if I'll be able to...wonder if Waterstones will give me the £3 off something else if I prove I bought the book in a Waterstones up here? Hmm...

In other news relating to the 16th, I got my train tickets through the post yesterday. Hurrah!

And a dodo. He's technically called Dinky, being a Beanie Baby, but I think I'm going to call him Frodo.

Cool! So we shall have Frodo the Dodo and Dido the Dodo... are you still bringing chocolate, by the way?

Yes, I was just thinking about the chocolate. Does anyone have any requests? I'll bring Tunnocks Teacakes and caramel wafers, actually. You probably don't get them in those furrin parts.

Maybe I'll bring tablet, too. Hmm.

Can you get the tickets from other branches of Waterstones ? Could you try to blag the £3 off when you buy WOLP next week ? That's my plan...

I doubt it, but it might be worth a try! Actually, Jasper's doing Borders in Glasgow, so Waterstones might be sulking...

The Glasgow reading is free, too.

I noticed that. I thought that was special for the Scots <ducks to avoid flak>

Frodo the Dodo sounds awfully Crustacean to me.

Tunnocks for ever!

I think the teacakes are non-veggie (marshmallow contains gelatine), but caramel wafers can be enjoyed by all. :-)

Someone please remind me to ring Waterstone's tomorrow!

Ring Waterstone's Tomorrow!

OK, serve me right for being ambiguous. What I meant to say was, "Tomorrow, someone please remind me to ring Waterstone's."

But thanks anyway! :-)
