I sent him an email asking if he would come to NZ, and he said 'not for ever' in a very tactful way so that i wouldn't throw a hissy fit!

now we know where TN gets her personality!

yup, Jasper's a really cool guy and he loves talking to his fans when he has time. He and Mari both are truly good people, methinks!

Maybe I should invite him to Oz. He could stay at my place, look after my kids, dedicate his next book to me. That sort of thing. :)

Jasper did come to Australia only last year - unfotunately I missed him when he was in Melbourne - I had only just got his first book so didn't know much about him and by the time I did he had come and gone (the Melbourne writers festival I think it was) he also went to other states too. I couldnt believe the timing - if only I had gotten the book (TEA) earlier and got my act into gear cos everyone says he is a great speaker.

Hopefully he will return to Aust promote TN3.

I just read PSD's post about the book suppository while drinking a mouthful of coffee. Through sheer effort of will, I neither sprayed coffee across my keyboard, nor inhaled it into my lungs

It was pretty close, mind.

There's a bit in Wolp where (I hope this doesn't spoil anything, it's hard to see how it can) a character inhales a mug of coffee. That can't be healthy, surely?

How does one inhale a MUG of coffe. A mouthful I can accept, but a mug??!!??
