Out of boredom, I set up a chatroom on irc's DALnet. Technophobes, worry not. All you need to do (if you fancy a chat) is to download the irc software (from www.mirc.com) and log onto DALnet. Then join the #ThursdayNext chatroom and say hello!
I should be on most nights from about 10ish GST (not GSD). It could be a laugh...

Thanks for making the effort. I might get round to joining in soon, but I seem to be logging in rather late at night, and then taking an hour or two to go through the day's posts, add my own comments, and then read the new ones coming in from the US and other night owls. By which time I'm too tired to attempt anything as ambitious as downloading new software.

Still it's the weekend, so I can go on-line anytime.

Many thanks for the offer too. I've had a look at the FAQ's on the site and there seems to be nothing about it being compatible for Mac s/ware. I don't think I can take part, I don't have Windoze file sim.
