Therefore, posting without actually having anything to say could have the effect of inadvertantly spamming poor Jasper. And we do want him to have time to write the next book, right?

Actually, thinking about that, the post counts are normal. I'm just used to my post counts elsewhere which were always so much higher than is sensible. :)

I'm on AIM. ICQ consistantly crashes my pc so I don't use it anymore.

AIM hated me, refused to accept that I exist, so I gave up and deleted it....

There is a company Trilliam that will coordinate all the IM services you use into one. I can't get it to work properly at home but it's great at work.

icq online might avoid the problem....

ICQ will work at work but not at home. Maybe I'll download it again and re-try it.

[go.icq.com] might do the trick - Violet recomended it to me and it worked fine here, although I've now got ICQlite
