I'm a little concerned. I know Jon was supposed to go to the Leeds signing and was really excited to go. And according to Dell's posts, he didn't make it there.
I'm wondering if he had transportation problems, especially if he was taking the train. I don't think Claire was going with, so he would have to rail it. Yesterday he apparently had some difficulty with unreliable public transport on First Manchester so, I wonder if that could be it.
But the fact he hasn't posted about being mad he didn't make it has me worried.
I was wondering the same thing after reading the posts, especially after seeing the one from him in which he says he's leaving in 10 minutes. Hope he's okay. If he indeed didn't make it, he's not much of an official stalker, is he? Unless the stalker gear got him held up by security somewhere....

DaveR took some photos, when not talking about undies. Emma, Jasper's publicist also took some, she may let us have copies, but they were real ones not these new fangled things :-)
Dell's still asleep at the moment, I expect this to continue for quite a while, she was too awake last night, talked to me till 2am

actually he says peep, cheep, chirrup, squalk, muttermuttergrumblegrumble, oh and now he falls off his pirch whish is followed by a sheepish peek round to see if anyone was looking and a quick scramble back up

It was too hot for chocolate anyway. The weather was supposed to break yesterday, but it was still intact until six o'clock this morning, when it cracked from side to side like the Lady of Shalott's mirror. It takes a rare storm to wake me up when I've had only four hours' sleep!

Aaah, mystery solved re non-appearance of Jon. It was pretty touch-and-go from the Sheffield end for me and Sarah, as there were points failures on both sides of Sheffield railway station. The train we meant to catch didn't appear; Sarah would have missed it anyway; I found out that I could have taken another one which I had been sure wasn't stopping at Leeds; a slow, stops-at-every-dot-on-the-way train was laid on, which would have got us there by 7:20; then we found we could catch one of those nice, new Virgin trains which got us to Leeds about 6:50. Phew !
Oh, and then we found the closed, dark Waterstones and wondered what the heck was happening. It was all worth it in the end.
I am number 8,902,492 on the Goliath corporate ladder, and am in the Law department, on account of my ability at making up stories.
That means I have to take my shoes off in your presence, for I am but a lowly 37,406,812th. (Not that I really want shoes on anyway at the moment - I've still got those blisters - ouch!) I think I got the lowest rank of all.
I'm in the Ornithology department, since I arrived with both a dodo and a penguin.
Actually, I thought it said you had to be obsequeous to those with higher numbers, but I'll have to double check the fine print.
My badge is at home, but I think it's 7 million somthing. I'm in the Soft Toy Division.
