Last post before holiday

Hey all.

I'm off tomorrow for my holidays for a fortnight, so this will be the last thing I post before my departure. Probably.

Anyway, just to say that I loved this months Whatever Next, I reckon I know 'whodunnit' but I haven't got time to construct a logical enough arguement since I'm supposed to be packing.

I'll miss you all, but I'll be back soon enough.

Kaz - No teasing PSD too much while I'm gone.

PSD - No giving Kaz excuse to tease you too much while I'm gone.

Jon - Don't write anything too funny, or if you do e-mail it me so I don't miss it!

Dante - Don't issue any more challenges! (Heheh)

Sarah - Say bye to Minsky et al for me, won't you?

Oh, and bye and love to everyone else too. I really haven't got time to write personal notes to everyone...

And if anyone feels like sending me a sort of precis at the end of each week telling me what's gone on so I won't feel too far behind I'll be terribly greatful.

Thanks all. Don't get caught doing anything I wouldn't do!

Here, you might tell us where you're off to!

Have a good 'un, wherever it is.

Oh Yeah... oops.

The Isle of Wight, for the interested. Should be fun. I'll give you all a report when I get back, or mid-holiday if I find a computer there...

Sarah doesn't want us 'phoning the hotel and cancelling her room.

Have a great time - looks like the weather will be ok for at least the next few days.

Sarah - if you do have fun on the IOW, let me know. I've been visiting over the past 10 years and have never had any kind of fun (except one visit to the Brading Wax Museum - the tackiest place ever!).

Auntysassy - Go on then, I'll bite. What on earth is Brading Wax? and just why was it tacky? (heatwave?)

It's a (very) poor man's Madame Tussard's in a small town called Brading on the east coast of the IOW. For a start the building is pink, the tableaux proport to show the history of the IOW (3 claims to fame - that's where Vespasian landed, where Alfred Lord Tennyson lived and and where Queen Victoria lived and died) and the chamber of horrors makes you laugh out loud - you really have to visit it to get the full effect! The best thing is the staff know it's tacky!

I am taking Mildred. She says she's looking forward to the sun. I've packed a couple of umbrellas though just in case she gets disappointed...

Brading Wax is funny! Especially the sign with SEX! in big letters then underneath 'Now that we have your attention...'

And you've gotta love Brown's in Sandown. And we go Dinosaur hunting near Blackgang, which is always good for a laugh, and we're seeing a concert at Osbourne House one night by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

I've always enjoyed the Isle anyway!

This really *is* my last post now...

You genuinely think you might have difficulty finding an alternative victim?
