Well, we just got back from a home decorating bonanza for my brother-in-law and his wife. I designed and made custom draperies for my sister-in-law and Hubby Jon helped his brother put custom shelving in the garage for storage. We were BUSY all weekend long.

We drove 8 hours down to South Carolina on Thursday and drove it back tonight with our 8 year old niece in tow. She'll stay with us this week and then we repeat it all on Saturday and will finish up our projects and then come home on Monday. AND I'll be doing a photoshoot while I'm down there too.

At least we really like them and always have a blast while we're there.

Good to be home though. I missed my babies! My youngest cat, Odin, has never been away from us for more than one full overnight. But he did great and the house was still standing (and not too stinky) when we got home, so that's a relief! The other 3 cats could have cared less apparently! LOL

einalem, They live in Greenville, SC and to get there from Washington DC you pretty much always have to go through Raleigh...and yes, we usually wave when we go through Ralleigh, however, it's usually just with our middle fingers! The drivers there are horrid! Some of the pickup trucks on the roads really shouldn't be there (I don't think they're in legal condition) nor should they be pulling bass boats!

I got some photos developed yesterday, including two of Asha's cat, Chen. I picked him up when he came in to her party and said "Oh, I so want a Birman". Now I've seen the pix, I remember how lovely Chen is.

if you want a Birman look without the health problems, try a RagaMuffin in a Natural Mink color (like my Odin)...'Muffins are healthy as horses and built like them too. And they're ULTRA sweet.

RagaMuffins come in almost any color combo but you can get the pointed colors as well. And Muffins can also have the sepia gene which creates the mink or colored bodies rather than the pointed colors on a white body. That's like the Birmans.
