So, how's everyone doing with Nextian Brain?
Posted by: MagicMeerkat (---.mtvne.com)

Enthusiasm has spilled over into having to de-lurk. I didn't want to post this in the TN3 group in case of spoilers and the closing date is just days away. How do you think you've done?

I'm definitely missing a few answers, and there's been some creative guesswork, but my entry has already gone...

I've not bothered, since I only recently got my copy of WOLP back from the friend I'd lent it to, and I can't win anyway since I'm on the wrong side of the Pond.

I do know a few of the answers though, and have hunches where to find a few others.

See PSD? I am not the only one who's been lurking around here for while. I haven't bothered to answer any of the questions either.

Blimey. Maybe I'm in with a chance then! Mind you, I have no idea what I'd do with a mammoth signpost. Messing with the heads of the local cul-de-sac is an option, I suppose.

I haven't done it either. Wrong side of the pond strikes again.

Down to the last 6 questions to answer - only I'm not sure if the hard Titanic question is actually the hard one as I found it easy. Therefore it could be the so-so question and I can't find the hard one.

There's one that is driving me mad because I've read the answer but I can't remember what the answer is nor which book it's in!!!

Last ditch effort tonight and then off they go!

Sounds like you're stuck on the same questions as I was! I found two out of three of the Titanic references but gave up on what I assumed must be the "hard" one.

I gave up bothering a long time ago, after I realsied that I'm just not cut out for that kind of malarkey...

What kind of malarkey are you cut out for, psd?

I haven't done it either. Need to reread books before answering questions and TEA is currently lent out.

I think I've found the hard Titanic question easy but can't find the so-so one. So frustrating!!!!!

The Dodo came home early last night so I didn't have chance to concentrate on finishing the quiz - I was busy getting dinner ready and then drank too much so had no way of concentrating on anything!!

Lunchtime today is my last chance..................

I'm at the stage of just remembering it, and then remembering I couldn't be bothered.

I haven't gotten around to trying the quiz, either, partly because I lent both my copies of WOLP to other people and have only just retrieved one of them.

MagicMeerkat, wwelcome to the ffrorum.

Thanks for the welcome! I really should have showed my face earlier, as I read The Eyre Affair in its infancy as a proof copy and I've been a fan ever since.

At last... I just sent away the answers. It has actually been quite a nice holiday occupation. And I believe I have also turned into a fan of the TV series The Prisoner - without having seen any of the episodes! But I have read episode guides and everything available on the net. And still haven't found what I was looking for... On the other hand I have found the hard reference to the Titanic, so I'm quite proud anyway! :-)

Is the prisoner the one with The Island, and the evil bubbles?

MagigMeerkat is a bit like StormStoat, I would imagine...
