Well, I'm back. And that's it really. And now I have 36 e-mails in one inbox and 94 in another and then there's my yahoo and all the Fforum to catch up on...

Heck.

Mildred and I both have sun tans though. A miracle, given the fact that it hardly stopped raining for the entire fortnight. Maybe it's rust.

I was describing Jasper's books to a friend last night, and mentioned the dodos. Erica promtly asked whether it was annoying to keep reading 'plock'. but I reassured her that the overall 'plock' frequency is quite sustainable. She sounded quite keen to read the books, so I might have to figure something out about loaning her one.

I note Miss B missed her computer but not me, seemingly. I'm second to a machine...

Computers don't go out and get bladdered on their birthdays, and then wake up grouchy and hung-over the next morning. And if they do go to sleep, at least they don't snore.
