Indian English is certainly derived originally from British English, but it's noticeably different in all sorts of ways -- for example, when was the last time you heard a British person use the word 'thrice'? In India, you hear it all the time, and it's not regarded as at all odd or archaic.

I think they've stopped marking for spelling and punctuation here? (I kid).

I can remember using used the term 'thrice' in something that I was writing, although not what that was or when I did so, but not using it in speech.

You sure you're not from Yorkshire originally, Simon?

The phrase is often overheard in Indian restaurants up that way - as in, "Waiter! There's something in th'rice"

Just trying to be helpful...

Erm, I use the term 'thrice' fairly often, but then maybe I'm weird?

dante, ...erm, as I am a confessed enemy of comma rule obedience (I don't even get it right in German at first try), I'll let the following links explain, what I probably would fail to explain correctly:

Listing comma and Punctuation.

I try to use BE spelling and punctuation, but it's more of an attempt than real usage.

PSD - was that last comment of yours a challange? It must have been. Why else would you have made it?

*koff koff*

There's no 'maybe' about your weirdness.
