The news from the Terrascope Discussion Forum is that Ptols has been reported to have enjoyed an Italian meal in the company of two women. Could this have been Bluebottle and Carla!! Some sceptics have tried to claim it was in fact Mrs Ptols and emERly, but I say BLAH to facts. It is also know that Vi was not there as obviously she would not be due to the pungent aroma of garlic, let the sceptics disprove that one.

Blah too from me. Course it must've been them. And surely Vi would have to wait till after dark to enjoy her meal? She may be sharpening her most glamorous fangs right now...
Mwahahahahaha!

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that, if Vi were here, she would emphatically deny that she is a vampire. We, of course, would not believe her.

all these people going off on holiday. Not fair. Still, managed to peeve Sarah slightly by finding out that she could have gone to Paris for about the same that it's costing her for a trip to Dublin. Not that there's anything wrong with Dublin, but Paris is more foreign.

Yeah, but Paris is full of french people! In Dublin in doesn't matter where you are from cos everyone is drunk.

Yep Dublin's GREAT! Much more fun than Paris (though Paris is far Frencher and more romantic...) depends why you're going, Sarah!

I wasn't peeved, just mildly surprised! I'm going to Dublin for two reasons: first of all, I've wanted to go there for a very long time, and secondly, an online friend (none other than Patrick, inventor of the world's finest chocolate pudding) is doing his PhD at Trinity College and insists I come and visit him while he's as close as that to England. This will also give me an opportunity to send a couple of little gifts via Patrick to his girlfriend and another mutual friend, who are both in Boston at the moment and who have also become good friends of mine online.

Paris can wait. Next time I can afford to hop on a plane, it'll be to Italy. :-)

I can do better than that! I can direct you all to the recipe, which you will find here. The site isn't fully PHP compliant, so I can't take you straight to the page; you have to click on "Cuisine" (this may require pulling down the bottom bar if you don't use full screen), and when you get there, go to "Deadly Chocolate Pudding".

His thesis on mediaeval Irish history isn't bad, either! :-)

It is not actually deadly, but I have actually managed to out-chocolate Dave R with it, which I honestly thought couldn't be done!
