Dell isn't too young to get engaged. I was only 18 when hubby proposed. We'd been going out 7 months. The we waited nearly 2 1/2 years before gettng married a month before my 21st.







That's the 21st I was suffering from chicken pox during. Just glad that little virus didn't come along a month earlier.

Skiffle, she isn't old enough to be a grandmother. I'm not old enough to be a mother. So it's a good job I'm only engaged, not pregnant.

AAC, we have known each other for years, we didn't meet on the fforum, this is not a fforumite wedding - Rhys has only been on here a couple of times. In fact, Jasper is only slightly involved - we got together sooner as we used his signing as an excuse to see each other again, and got together shortly after. So Jasper will have to wait a bit longer for his dream to come true...

Oh, and we plan to have the wedding somewhere a bit nicer (and more real) than the gutter, thankyouverymuch...

I just read it in your mom's post that you met at one of Jasper's signings. Sorry if I misread that!

I really do wish you both the sincerest congratulations! It's such a fun, exciting and even scary time. I wouldn't trade my engagement period for anything! (But the marriage is even better - post wedding that is! We just celebrated our 6th anniversary.)

It may be as close as Jasper gets.

Poor Jasper. He misse dout on Jonty and Mel's wedding. He didn't introduce Rhys and Dell. There must be someone out there who he can claim to have got married.

I'm still waiting for my 'Secret Santa' Christmas pressie I should have got from Tony 8 months ago. He bought it, and it's been sitting in his living room for months. He never remembers to bring it to the pub on Fridays and I'm not in the habit of calling at his house. I'll probably be there in Nov, when his housemate, Kate, usually has a birthday party. So I might get it before next Christmas !
