What about Tasmanian Devils? They're really cool animals. And I can be fforumite expert on them!

Aren't they in trouble at the moment from something?

Yes, poor little blighters. they are all catching a virus that's causing cancer so they're all dying. Sending the zoological people into a spin trying to cure it quick.

I hope that the non-Antipodeans don't think that Tasmanian Devils are anything like a certain cartoon character.

And anyone who has met a koala can testify what an evil noise they make.

And they stink, koalas. Wiffy critters. And they give you a vicious scratching and biting if you're not careful.

We should introduce one to PSD. He'd probably like it.

I'd also like to mention that I hate it when people pronounce "Emu" "Ee-moo"

It's Eem-yuu!

Oooh I dunno Simon, strikes me there's an awful lot of phonetic spelling going on hereabouts ;)

Actually I thought the distinction was "eem-yuu" when mentioning the bird and "ee-moo" when mentioning the European Monetary Unit? (or is it Union? Not sure now...)

Intrigue, I think it was somebody called Joe Jackson or maybe Joe Johnson. Probably had a really weird name and got a plain one to stand out, rather like 'John Smith' in the Nextain world.

Er, Dave, the question was answered some way back up the thread. And it is Joe Jackson. I knew straight away but got beaten to the chance of showing off my knowledge.
