For the Tolkienies -

I got a silver One Ring through the post today that I ordered off e-bay - it's very pretty! (Something wrong with a One Ring that has a serial number of 925, but not to worry!)

Look here - isn't it fab?

So if you suddenly end up invisible, we'll know why, won't we? ;-)

Dante, you're not going to use it to conquer middle earth, are you?

Pretty. I got a gold-plated one with a necklace for Valentines day last year. This year I got a new HDD. :-)

I don't seem to have turned invisible as yet - I'm testing it at work, and I still got given work to do...

Bluebottle, i generally only wear silver jewellery, and I'd never seen it in silver before...

And i got some cables to hook my TV up to my stereo system for Valentine's day a couple of years ago. Who wants to be conventional?

Dante - I have the gold one and have not turned invisible yet either. Wonder if we need to activate them somehow before they work.

Oh, I'd been wondering if mine didn't work because it was silver. Hmmm.

Where can we find a Dark Lord...hmm...Where *is* PSD?

LOL Dante. (Would ROFL but not appropriate in workplace.)

PSD as Dark Lord....and a new era of madness begins...

Tracy, stay out of the sewer. GSD knows what kaz and psd are doing down there with all those cats!

ROFL would definitely be inappropriate in workplace. Especially in a skirt or dress.

I have every intention Nicky. It's very stinky in there.

Skirt or dress? Pah. Haven't worn either in, ooh, over eight years - and the last one was for a musical.

(Of couse, as stated previously, I have very short and oddly shaped legs.)

(Well, not *that* short and oddly shaped, but enough to make me detest skirts.)

Tracy,

Did you send me any email? I don't think our server is working right?

I've been emailing you all day.

Was wondering why you hadn't responded.

Lovely!

I have a friend who has a gold version of the One Ring. He wears it around his neck all the time and makes references to his 'secret quest' to his other friend when he thinks no-one is listening.

It's kind of scary actually.
