I always thought that Gollum should look more like a Marshwiggle - with a hat and all.

Hmmm, rather disconcerting to see 'The One Ring' for sale (different sizes available). Seems less exclusive, somehow.

Maybe it isn't working because it's faulty. I seem to remember that the writing only showed on Frodo's ring after Gandalf threw it into the fire and heated it. The writing is clear on the ring in the picture though. Try replacing the batteries.

I would like to state that the only thing PSD and I are likely to do to theose cats in the sewer is to feed them to the first alligator we find.

Nice ring, but I think it doesn't work for you Dante, because you don't have bring hairy feet. I reckon that's the trick.

Well, none of my cats would go into the sewer, not even Klinsmann.

Do you get alligators in sewers?

What do you think Steve Irwin went to the US for? Crocodiles aren't a problem for him now.

Certainly do, tho I doubt if there are many over here... pet owner gets bored with pet who's gnashing at the kids and taking up half the bath instead of just the basin, chucks pet down lavatory forgetting said pet's aquatic, pet hits sewers & thinks mmm yummy! Nourishing sh*t, and gets bigger, meets like-minded reptile, has 26.4 young and there you go...

Dante - 925 isn't a serial number - it indicates that the object, in this case a ring, is made of sterling silver. Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver - can't remember what the rest is.

Nickel? Copper? A mixture of thsoe two elements? I suspect that one or another of those possibilities is the right answer...

There's already been at least one horror film about Alligators in a city's sewers, set somewhere in the USA.
And then there are the ex-pet Terrapins, too...

Well, in Victoria most of the sewer contents end up close to the Safari Park.

The 'One of a Few' Ring.

Struck fear in the hearts of millions, that did.

More so than the 'One of Many' Ring though, it must be said...
