This really is my kind of project - share and add to the world's knowledge - without even having to sign in!

I ought really to explain. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort to categorise and describe the whole world via collective editing. Everything is open to revision and addition by anybody, and creating links is just a case of placing [[ ]] around words. No, really.

I've created an entry for Mr Fforde coming off the entry for Jane Eyre, and I've also covered the Fforum, but there's a need for other bits of information, if anybody fancies doing them for us.

Red links are entries for which no information is held. It's also possible to discuss the page if you want to query something or ask further questions for later revision. Neat, huh? It's kind of like H2G2 was, only more open still.

This is the work of an Italian narco-anarchic collective. Don't bother insulting them, they can't read English anyway.

"Another way to engage readers has been through the insertion of rogue psotcards into copies of the books which now sell for not inconsiderable sums, as well as guerilla signings of his books - which often confuse purchasers. "

What's a psotcard? Is it worth more than a postcard?

I think it's related to a wuestion. I'm pretty sure you have to have a licence to own one of them.

Somebody did afterwards, so... The whole point is it's completely open - you can add to or edit anybody's writing. What's cool is it really seems to work quite well.

Self-editing, basically. There's a page to report any misgoings on, and they can ban serial offenders. If you come across any, flag it up.

My favourite comment so far was after somebody left "Weeee....." continued for 75kb. The comment on the vandalism page read "What a moron - he can't even spell "Wheee...." right for 75kb"
