Sorry to interrupt the jokes, but here I am! Introduction: I'm Katie, a recent grad from the University of Wisconsin, I was on my way to the University of Berkeley for my PhD in Ancient History when I got side-tracked by the Navy. I'm now a Cryptologist Technichian Interpretor (Arabic) for US Navy Intelligence, and Mr. Fforde's world remains my relaxing escape from it all. Adequate website: [wisc.facebook.com]

Welcome to the ward, Katie! I rather suspect a cryptologist will fit in here fine :)

Hi CK. Help your self to pie.

You may find yourself drafted into helping re-build the treehouse as that involves wood-working as well. If you only work in stone, don't worry - we could use a new vault for all of us oldies.

How far did you get with the ancient history part?

Wonder if Skids will show up....

Welcome! I will offer you cake, or I had a particulary tasty ragin Cajun chicken tonight, twas rather good, watch out for squirrels, weasels and in accordance with the new memorandom other rodents, namely jerboas tonight!

You're job sounds way more interesting thsn mine, I guess you had a better careers advisor! Curse my fossilised dinosaur teacher who made her skirts in the style of Maria Von Trapp - out of curtains and her limited vision on careers!

You had a careers advisor?

Talk about luxury! Of course, if you went to my school you weren't expected to have a career. Just get married and donate all your money to the church and they were happy!

Well, at least it was a plan! Doesn't have to be a good one - maybe they put the resources into other curricular areas?

munching Dairy Milk from my Easter Egg which is still whole. Seems to taste different to normal dairy milk - seems creamier, rather yummy on the whole!

Haven't observed any suckling chicks lately but you never know! That would really turn the whole mammalian milk thing on its head! Mind you, one thing that would be freaky/weird/interesting would be man milk... after all, they can breast feed, there is no reason for them not to use their milk for a higher purpose - cheese!
