What bizarre things flit across one's mind, during the day. They make perfect sense to you, of course.

I was just in my bedroom when I thought;

"Damn, forgot to bring the owl upstairs."

Friday, my guess is perfumes ?

As I was coming downstairs this morning, I had the sudden thought that AAC has dark hair and eyes. No idea why I should think this. Am I right ?

Don't think I can get to any profiles, as I'm not logged on. (See other threads for details). I haven't seen anything about profiles on the fforum.

You can login from wherever you are ... there should be a little footnote just below the last post in a thread saying 'Log In'. Dunno what you do if you forget your password, though. Perhaps if you ask the Panjandrum nicely he will give you a new one.

oh yeah, so there is. I presume it would only go the e-mail addy on your profile, tho', so if you have no access to this it doesn't help much.

There certainly must be a forgot my password thingy. I think they email you a new one, yeah?

Skiffle...it was actually a chocolate bar here in Canada called "Coffee Crisp" and they just came out with a french vanilla flavour that they don't have in my mother's town called "Tweed" and I am visiting her this weekend. Ugh. Hate Tweed.

Oooh ... it's a while since we had any Cananadadians here. Welcome, stranger. We must give you a name. I know - since it's the sixth day of the week, we'll call you - Bob!

Jon;

If you count today, Friday, as the sixth day of the week, you must have started counting on Sunday.
But Sunday is at the weekend. So if the week ends on Sunday (nearly typed Sinday there; oops, sorry God), it must begin on Monday. That makes today the fifth day of the week.

I hate those calenders that start the week with Sunday.

I always start the week from Sunday. Dunno why .... it's how I was taught, I spose.

Anyway ... doesn't the weekend start at 1700 tonight?

Jon: Is Bob short for Kate ? Or some other reference I've missed completely, or just random ?

Indeed yes. Incidentally, we may have to institute some sort of fines system for gratuitous references, viz;

Monty Python - 50p
Pratchett - 50p
Tolkien - 30p
Blackadder - 20p
Douglas Adams - 20p
Blake's 7 - 10p
Dr Who - 10p
Star Trek - 10p
Star Wars - 10p

... any more?

And who exactly collects these fines, might I ask ?

tho if they were collected, we could probably have a damn fine Xmas party somewhere on the proceeds.

Got 'Freebird' on in the background;
