I see you've accidentally deleted the list, so you'll be pleased to know that my little script to create the belated greetings has preserved all the information.

... aaaaaand it's gone.

Of course we understood. But we thought you felt useful that way.

ipAre we going to resurrect this thread again?

Or are wee going to nominate a date and we will all use that, just like racehorses all being deemed to have been born on 1 August?

I nominate Jesus as being born at zero, and the everyone can fill their dates in after that.

Do a cut and paste and insert and eventually we will have the entire thing up and running.

That is, if you want to.

So.

I stopped posting to this for 2 reasons
1 - it is no longer considered safe to give full d.o.b. info on the web (loss of personal information)
2 - Virtually no-one other than me seemed interested in actually wishing anyone birthday greetings.

If you are going to revive it, may I suggest that you do not include the year of birth, just a general age-group?

Whatever you decide, the first entry is wrong as the concept of zero came later. It went from 1 B.C. to A.D. 1 (1 C.E. is more acceptable these days)
Most accounts now choose somewhere in the range 4-2 B.C. as the birth year.

P.S. If bunyip or anyone else wants to take over the reins for this thread, I will happily show them how I organised the list, but I do not know how to transfer ownership of a thread itself.
