More one-lap qualifying. It's good to have action all the way through the session but I miss those last fifteen minutes battles where the top drivers would keep taking pole off each other.

Great to see a new driver on pole; Schumi really didn't expect to be third, did he ? Still he made a nice attempt at being gracious...
Ralf probably in even worse temper. Bet they won't be playing 'Happy Families' to while away the hours before race day.

doubt if Alonso will actually win the race though, not experienced enough.

Q. Is Schumi annoyed enough to loose his manners and shunt someone ?

"Malaysian GP"? Is that anything to do with the Irish RM? :-)

You know, when I clicked on this thread I was under the misapprehension that it was going to be a funny story about a foreign doctor.

I'm still working too hard.

I wish it was. I got examined by a very nice Greek doctor the other day. She said, "you're very deaf". I said "I can't hear you, I'm very deaf." So she said to come back in two months (by when, presumably, the Hearing Fairy will have called). So that was useful.

If you're deaf, how will you know when the hearing fairy calls ? You won't be able to hear the door bell ring.

I'm going to be lazy and get Mum to set the video again, to tape the race.

The Hearing Fairy, as any fule kno, comes fully equipped with teletext subtitles, as well as a number of useful items of sign-language (mainly concerned with transport and reproduction).

Wonder if the hearing fairy could get a more comfortable hearing aid for my Mum. She's only just given in a got one.

I've been telling her that she's being going deaf for years, but she wouldn't listen...

if you can't beat them join them...

I'm half deaf as well, i had to have an operation when i was 4 on my right ear, then i pierced my right eardrum when i was 5 or with a lollipop stick and then when i was 11 i had more problems with my ears due to swimming lessons.

it's quite handy when you want to get to sleep. you just turn your deaf ear up and it creates a lovely silence.

Cheated and got Mum to tape race for me. Watched it soon as I got up. Dad wants to watch it too, and made me promise not to tell him result.

So tempting to say "I'd have thought Kimi Reikinenn would looked a bit more excited about winning his first race."

I was right about Alonso Fernando not winning, but good he made it to podium in spite of flu and dodgy car.

Another grand race; let's hope we get more like this.

This changing the rules to make it more exciting and give more people a chance lark could catch on - with a suitable handicap system, perhaps it could be time for United and Arsenal to move over and give Torquay a chance!

(Although if you give Torquay a chance they usually put it over the bar).

:-)
