Devonshire Cat is just off Devonshire Green, as is street-trendy shopping place called the Forum. There's a climbing shop about two minutes walk away (for PSD's info)

*Short pause to turn up CD player for 'The Trio', final track on Good, Bad, Ugly soundtrack. Thrumming guitars, castanets and ecstatic trumpets. Leaves me weak in the knees and less mentionable places.*

Back to earth now - where was I ? Oh yes.

Travelling to visit a place opposite Reading Railway station. Hmmm. Does not immediately appeal.

It's not too bad, to be honest. It was the name that appealed more.

Just picked up copy of 'My Time' magazine (free with Puzzler Collection), from sofa.
Advert inside front cover - Hand Crafted Religious Thimbles:

"You'll be intrigued by these miniature marvels ! The Holy Bible and Psalm 23, handcrafted on solid pewter thimbles, provide endless fascination. Open the Bible's tiny hinged cover to reveal the Lord's Prayer, while the uplifting words of our best-loved Psalm are hidden inside the other."

Only £16.95 the pair !

Yes, thimbles with little curved doors on one side, which open to reveal suitably uplifting text printed on slips of paper. No mention of the magnifying glass you'll need to read them.

Endless fascination? What value of endless are they using?

Surely 'endless' cannot have a definition....

But think of all the speculation they'd provoke. Such as - "why the plock would anyone buy such an item of tat"?

A friend's grandmother has some very nice things which he and his mother will inherit, in due course. Other side of family - Aunt - is less discriminating. So Granny has bought some tat just so Aunt will have something to inherit as well.

Do you know whether they have any plans for a UA of Warrington Cat?
