Bad News ! I phoned Iain B. this evening to find out how work on my flat is going, and it isn't; not much anyway. Going to write to my landlord and tell him to get those s*****g workers to get a move on.
The McCartney gig is next Wed. I've got return rail tickets from Sheff to Man for the day returning at 01.19. That's rather late to be showing up at Sarah's and asking for an overnight bed. Plus hadn't expected to have return fare from Norwich to Sheffield.

Sorry, but *really* pissed off about not being able to go home tomorrow. This is about the fourth week in a row when I've been disappointed. And it's throwing my plans to see the gig into a heap. I've bought the concert ticket and trains tix and it's in danger of being scuppered by bloody lazy decoraters !

I'm not terribly good at this sympathy stuff, but having lived in student hovels for ages I know how you feel. Even at home with my parents it was three months before I got the decorating done - and I stripped the wallpaper off first thing too. I still have next to no furniture.
