Ironically, I've finally pulled my finger out...

Soonish. Like, very soonish.

Are we talking hours, days, weeks or months? :-)

soon is a very subjective measurement...

It'll be Thursday then.

I'm currently cursing Microshafted for not making it easier to edit things like this whilst making them look good. And Reading Uni for not having a decent publishing package. I'm having to cobble it all together, and it's taking ages.

what are you using to edit? I though AAC was doing the HTML bit?

Yeah, but we were going to do a 'hard' format for people to print. And I'm trying damned hard to make it look good, with varying degrees of success.

My native wit, instinct, and several industrial vats of pure invective...

I take it the invective is due to Microsoft?

Use Dreamweaver instead...

No, no, don't use Dreamweaver! I hates it, I hates it for ever! Nassty rotten fancy javascripted framed rubbish ... about as user-friendly as a cornered rat.

How often do you use cornered rats? Are they internal or external corners, and is this the new designer alternative to coving?

I have here in my hand a piece of paper, with the signatures of both myself and Mr. Poetscientistdrinker on it. I believe it means Whatever Next in our time.

Not that it's of any relevance but the nephew of Mr. I've-got-piece-of-paper sits in the office two doors along the corridor. (In fact, he is away today as his mother, ie. the sister-in-law of Mr. I've-got-piece-of-paper, is in hospital.)

Small world...

Are we talking Chamberlains here, cos I thought they came from Brum?

Yes, and I think he does. He was at Oxford then Nottingham for years before he came to Leeds about 4 years ago.

Unfortunately for the rest of you, that bit of paper is one of several that still need finishing off. ANd the editing of the first one may be a little dodgy, as the further I get in the more I think should be included, but the harder it is to actually keep on top of the formatting. By the second edition, I may have sorted out a few errors...
