Hi jjvman, glad you made it to Nextian.

Help yourself to pie. Savoury to the left, sweet to the right. There is some cake and drinks by the treehouse, but i am sure someone will be along with a rehreshments trolley soon.

ah...

Somehow the rules seem to have changed.

Any idea how they work now, anyone?

I don't [i]think] the rules have changed.

There was a gap of over 48 hours, I should have posted a new start word, but didn't, so jjvman just revived the thread by starting a new game and posted Thai, slang for Neanderthal, and I posted investigation, from Jack Spratt, or even Thursday.

The next work should begin with N.

(just a quickie - please SINGLE words. If you use multiples it becomes far too easy - and eventually someone will reproduce an entire chapter.)

Mea Culpa - I just thought "Styx" on its own would be unnecessary cruelty! ;p

I'd recommend a refractory ceramic fibre, or perhaps a thick coating of vemiculite and/or alumina rather than asbestos. Slightly less chance of Mesophelioma.

I'm sure you would, but there's not a single word that starts with "y" in there!

And I can't think of anything apart from "Yorrick", which has already been used.

but Yorrick wasn't used in this game, so perhaps you ought to go for it......
