<Hopes that Geg realises that the "Forum List" is as close to a front page as the Fforum has>

Sporting blackeye from pickle jar and listing heavily to starboard like page one of the Forum attempt to follow Geg through gate but find way blocked by a load of indecipherable piffling wafflese. Decide to philosophise a bit on parallel universes and their usefulness in these straitened times. Sigh.

<Is not entirely surprised at failing to find Forum Page, as Treehouse map is notoriously unreliable, still its a lovely day for a fruitless expedition, heads off to Forum List Hill as seems looks to be most likely place.>

<attaches post-it note to Geg, labelled "You are here" and a downward pointing arrow>

<Takes more pies from esky>

<wonders if CR's (now Geg's?) post-it note counts as a rudimentary sat-nag device>

<wonders what geg is doing on the floor>
<sees post-it note, and removes it, allowing geg to once again roam about freely>
<hopes geg realizes the map she has is from 1952>
<shrugs shoulders>
<sets down american chocolate cake, german chocolate cake, violet cake surprise, and sets the Anna special on the floor - vanilla cake with vanilla icing with dog treats scattered on top>
<silently wishes Anna, the big black, grey, and white mutt a ~very~ happy 1st birthday. she has yet to learn English, but sign language comprehension is improving>
<would sing the happy birthday song, but Anna would not understand, and I'd just get censored for no purpose>
<steps back and hopes the bribery works as an apology for spending too much time at the pool>
<wonders why OB has such a beauty of a black eye, decides not to interfere with family squabbles>

<Takes some while to realise that the sudden arrival of VM means quest no longer imperative. Realisation immediately followed by rapid consumption of vast quantities of cake.>
<Adds "not" to post it note, folds to resemble lovely flapping bird and hurls over the perimeter fence.>

Return from my wanderings in other universes and find myself still on my oddy knocky OUTSIDE THE FENCE.The sights I have seen oh my brothers.A world of singing pies marked "s", glass spider olympics, men drugged on odd socks.Wrap memento of journey to infinity in brown paper and address it to Violet Moon. It is a banana smeared typewritten copy of the complete works of Shakespear. Violet can put it in the trophy cabinet in the treehouse atrium. Lob it in a willy nilly manner over the FENCE. Folded paper bird gives me a nasty cut on my leg. Hide.

runs around in shock having misread 'willy nilly' and thought it was an instruction to the barbarians who live on the outside of the outside of our universe.

exits stage left with red face and burning ears. - that will teach me not to roast pies in the treehouse.

<puts basket full of freshly baked cinnamon buns on table>

<drinks tea and eats bun>

Manys the night I've dreamed of pie, toasted mainly. Will be outside the main portal if you lob in that general direction. Had a sock pie once on my travels but cannot recommend it.
