<Watches Skids guarantee himself an complete absence of pie for at least a month. Wonders if that means Warwick Davies is out. Realises this means no Marvin the paranoid android and cheers up considerably.>

<prefers the Warwick Davis Marvin to the David Learner costume>

<prefers the look of the radio version to either film or tv versions>

<throws picture of Tony Head towards mrs. SkidMarks, thus distracting her from Hannigan shennanigans and ensuring no disruption to pie supply>

(Edited to change Patrick Head (race car designer) to Tony Head (actor) at request of mrs. SkidMarks)

<prepares to create dramatic conflict>

<wonders why "Revenge of the Squirrels" contains no squirrels as yet>

<decides to correct that>

<chuckles Evilly in true Evil Villain form>

<directs attention to [en.wikipedia.org] >

<thinks this is a very clinical description that captures none of the fun, also would like to offer the substitution of English Barn Dance to Ceilidh dance, only cos I have only ever done it at ceilidhs>

<Adds to description - the principal aim of the dance is to see how fast you and your partner can spin - i.e. who falls first, also get to spin unsuspecting participants>

<fantastic work out, hope everyone enjoys themselves, if there are enough for an Orkadian Strip the Willow!>

<confesses that When he was in a Morris side.... >

<waits for laughter to die down>

<after twenty minutes decides to continue anyway>

<continues to explain that the Morris men would occasionally push an extra man into a set stripping the willow causing havoc!>

<Adds disclaimer that this was at ceiledhs/barn dances where most people were reasonably experienced dancers. Considers that it would be unfair to do it to novices, who are perfectly capable of getting themselves into all sorts of mess without help.>

Ever try the stick and bucket dance? :P

(heehee, hankies and bells and everything was it?)

<reminisces about Morris dancing with hankies, bells and very stout sticks>

<remembers how strange it was that when the side "invited" a member of the audience to join in, it was usually the gobbiest heckler and it always seemed to be a stick dance>

<assumes that this tradition still continues, having not been in a side for over 25 years>
