It's a shame about the double attack of head-hanging marked "s" for sorry

In most houses it's all grist to the mill as far as pies are concerned

Wanders off to find some odds and sods, bits and pieces; flotsam and jetsam; et ceteras and et ceteras to make conciliatory pie with.

Takes all out of date pies and other pasty items and grinds them all to dust.

Mixes in adhesive.

Roasts

cuts into slices and serves in a kebab after liberally doping with eastern Mediterranean suace.

Goes and eats a salad.

Finds strange food stuff in pantry

Tastes same

Apart from slight lack of salt and pepper realise that the substance has a

timeless quality that Escoffier would be proud of

Eat most and squirrel the rest away for later consumption

wonders if OB hears melodies in the evening in bottle?

if so, wonders if it is Eine Kleine Nachtmusik?

exits with head held very low as even I am ashamed of such a comment.

Promises to renmain quiescent for an unspecified period

<Feels one should not bottle up topical music either by day or night, even by a little, topologically speaking.>

<Wishes to rearrange previous sentence but lacks required skills.>

<Is informed by independent observer that when one's own musical skills, bottles and karaoke are combined, the period for which quiescent should be enforced possibly exceeds the heat death of the universe.>

<sulks. Plays Cage's 4"33', personally named by self as "A little NoughtMusic.">

<Rebels by replaying at quadruple volume.>

<Practices further sulking.>

Dekline to say what the music I hear is, but now know the full horror of the expression "earworm"

Break bottle to escape this surface tension.

Note that BBC radio 4 is broadcasting a programme entitled Earworms. Will avoid.

<Conscience will not quietly acquiesce to applicability of quiescence as pun-penalty.>

<Considers reciting above three times aloud.>

<Doesn't.>

<Hopes bunyip will acquiesce to self-revocation of self-imposed quiescence.>

<Departs stage left to check if cat, hat and rat are still on mat.>

Despite promises of quiescence suspects Bunyip's cells are still quietly dividing.

Abandons all thoughts of aquiring scientific proof.
