Is that irritating because you're having trouble doing it, because there are people all around you knitting and making clacking sounds, or because it's wool and it itches?

I had a very Zen comp sci prac yesterday. If I could have done it, I would have, but since I could not, I had not.

It all worked out in the end. But in a very, very, strange way.

A little of each. But mostly number two. People knitting on the train is one of my pet hates. Some woman actually managed to get knitting needles on the plane when I was headed to Vienna. I couldn't even escape the clacking by changing countries!

It's not too hard to get knitting needles on the plane. It's the scissors they object to.

Martin--you'll find, if you do comp sci long enough, that it's all Zen.

You'd never get them on a plane here. They complain about long metal sticks with pointy ends on.
