That's it, then.

I just remember last year Martin B made a similar post to celebrate his release from Highschool, and at the time I thought "wow, I can't wait untill I can make a post to that effect!"

Well, here it is, then. I've taken all my exams and I graduate next week. So, for all you worldly people out there, any advice? Anything would be helpful: Always know where your towel is...always have somehting round on hand to repair tempral rift holes...etc....

Go ahead...complain about how boring real life is.

Cheers!

*sends many hugs to LT*

Have a great time. What you planning to do?

Well done Lady T.

Just remember the second best known expression of Buckarro Banzai: "Don't tug on that, you never know what it might be attached to."

What do I plan to do? Um...Right now the general idea is a double major in a Physics/Math degree and a Music degree but really, it's having a plan that makes things boring. Peace Corps sounds good, but I'd also like to pull an Indiana Jones or a TE Lawrence and end up exploring Middle Eastern Deserts, possibly rescuing artifacts from distruction (shakes fist at stupid waring factions)

oh yeah, world dominion too.

Of course! You can borrow one of my DoomsdayDevices(TM) for a bit if you promise to look after it...

Well... if World Domination is your thing, then the best advice is to be found on the Evil Overlords List [www.eviloverlord.com]

Otherwise... do what you want! But I'd make sure you get to uni before you get too old...

The real world won't be the slightest bit boring with a brain like yours.

If I could articulate that well in high school....well, I'd have known how to finish this sentence, for one thing.

Many congratulations.

Good luck, LT!

I'm about to graduate college in three weeks, and I'm TERRIFIED! I don't know what I'm gonna do, yet, but I told my parents not to get me a plane ticket back home. I'll stay out here a while longer, and see if I sink or swim…

Should the Real World be warned about what is about to hit it?

Could someone tell me exactly what this mythical Real World is? Sounds like a Goliath product...

congrats Lady Teaspoon. The real world apparently is what happens outside of books....I visit it occassionally but only to go to bookshops. (It helps that I work in one and the bus is almost door to door)

Awww...thanks you lot! Now I feel all special to have notes from all the fffffourmites.

The only thing I am dead terrified of is getting stuck in a desk job, or falling in to the rut of home-work-grocery store-home-work-grocery store-home.

I've been home for all of two weeks and I'm already stir crazy. Rawrr.

That can help.
