Did you hear that he is set to be doing around 25 lectures a year in America earning $150,000 a speech? That certainly wasn't what I had in mind for him!

I think I would put it in fantasy.

new book to categorise anyone?

I have a vital-most request
For you my Ffforum friends
Please tell me,if you have the time,
Of your most favourite ends.

My dears,I am always wind blown away by your book cleverness so I would, if you have a momentspace to care, like to ask you to tell me what your finest book endings are. How do goodmost endings work? What words do they use and in what order? Tell me the glorybest endings of the greatest books? Tell me them! And then we will play a game of BookEnds?

How do you begin a game about Endings? What rules? Perhaps you should tell me the best endings and I should have to thinkguess them?

Can you help?

What is the perfect end?

Please help!

This message has an end now, but I'm not thinking it is glorymost!

(grin)

Ah, I *like* this!

The best ending was the one where Spot got home safe and sound.

I always liked that one.

The very last lines of a 3-volume trilogy*.

'What will happen to us?'
The Minstrel boy looked at him in surprise.
'How the hell should I know?'

*I have read DNA and RR so think it essential to say how many books there are in a trilogy

Um.

Well, in our local bookshop, they aren't on shelves as such. They are generally kept in a plastic bag under the counter until I get there to pick them up.

Hmm.

Half the neighbourhood probably thinks I'm buying porn.

For mischief I would probably put them in the history (non fictional) section.

Where would you put 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'?

"Do Androids Dream" is obviously political science, or occassionaly philosophy or, just once...crime.
the most fun I've had reshelving after customers is finding the "Joy of Sex" in the childrens picture books.....
