Sadly, they won't be as rare as the 1631 "Wicked" bible or the unsigned Pratchett, but I will probably keep both an unmodified first edition and get a corrected re-print.

Perhaps either JFf or JFff has a spare uncorrected, unerrored proof for a future competition?

A friend of mine has an advance copy of the US edition, and it does have the footnotes. I'm in the US but order the UK editions; when I got to the missing footnotes I called him to figure out what they were. Don't know why I didn't think to look here first.

Whichever, make your self at home and have some pie. i don't know what has happened to the cake trolly, but I think there are drinks by the treehouse. Looking at the conga-line over there, I suspect that there are some alcoholic beverages available.
