Ah, but I mean in Thursday's world...

do "her" books have to deal with copyright laws. And if they do what happens if anything to the multiple bookworlds created in the books.

I wonder if bookworld uses the "unread" parts of her bookworlds as extra space...

Just don't ever call him a monkey!

As for copyright, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm sure that books that exist in Thursday's world (such as the Daphne Farquitt novels) are under copyright, so a book that was fictional with respect to the "real" Thursday would not be able to use elements from them without permission. Is that what you're referring to?

Yes...actually...

so how do you think that was dealt with in Thursdays world? then again since the first 1-4 are re-built does it even matter? (did they ever say whether the origial 1-4 had bookworld in them?)

***SPOILERS*** (probably) ***

I don't think they did, but it clearly had bits inside Jane Eyre, hence the Rochester being a ninja thing. So were they inside the real Jane Eyre or did they have a fake Jane Eyre in which she fought Acheron.

I wonder if copyright is enforced within Bookworld, or something that happens from the outside, and the books have to accommodate the changes, which is just extra hassle.

I just got to think about another aspect. We know that ImaginoTransference is linking readers and the acting characters inside the books. There is also a reference that Well operations steer the author into writing the book. But how do the real-world editors and publishers come into play?

For example, if the Outland editor finds spelling mistakes in the first edition and corrects them for the second, was that an oversight of grammasite control? Does it make a difference if the mistake was in the manuscript or if it was only a later typesetting error? And since different editions are stored parallel in the Great Library, what is hindering the bookworld operatives to go back to the first and amend that? To not do so might even constitute spreading of the misspelling vyrus, I'd say!

I have always wondered how a book chooses an author.... <_< >_>

The same way that a wand chooses a wizard. *nerd* sorry, couldn't resist, only 2 more days!!!

I like the idea of having a bookworld which is a part of a sort of creativity-verse. I've been wondering since LIAGB if there was a Great Library for music. Visit your favorite symphonies! That would be fun.

... look, a monkey! *flees*

I couldn't resist; I'm high off of Harry Potter 7 anticipation (much like I was high off of FAS anticipation, I wonder if a person can overdose on this stuff?)

yes.
The only antidote is pop-corn and a shlocky teen movie. Of course, some say that the cure is worse than the disease...

The cure is worse than the disease.

Hey, everyone! BK was right. Someone did say it. (Memo to self: try to learn to type without speaking the words out loud)

Say what?

And the cure is worse.
