Kitten: coeffecientoffrictionhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Hmm.... I do not mind marzipan, but have not had it for such a long time that maybe the memory is fading.

Maybe battenberg was invented to create a vaguely edible chess board? like dwarf bread is a weapon!
Who wants to eat kitchen sponge? I always say: avoid food that look and feel as though they should be an art material!

For those of you who have not encountered Battenburg, the dreaded wikipedia managed to get it about right for a change!
Have a look here but for those of you who know, look here instead.

BibwitHart, surely having edible chess pieces would be smarter, and add a different aspect to the game ("Taking the queens rook would mean that I'm open on my kings side, although I may get stop her knight from threatening B4. Plus, mmmmm, marshmallow").

But then, having bits of the board you can remove and eat when you're hungry or when it's tactically advantageous would be fun.

"She'll got that rook on my back row, and backed by the knight"

What about adding new bits? Then you can build mountains to block progress....
