A Late but Happy Arrival

Hello to all!

SkidMarks suggested I join the noisome, happy bunch here when he saw at href="http://www.jasperfforde.com/phorum/read.php?1,90492 my first ever posting on the ThursdayNext board.</a> (Won't rehash it here; it deals with my blurring the boundaries between fictional universes back in the 1990s.)

What can I say? I've just started, am 212 pages into The Eyre Affair, and I have decided I want not only to read each and every one of this series of novels, but also to play Thursday Next this Halloween. Seeing as she's 15 years younger than I at the time of this story, and I'm hardly female,... well, I've crossed that boundary before and may not let it stop me this time. It is 2007, after all...

This is a Heaven of a fictional universe for me to have stumbled upon... I think I'm the first on my LiveJournal friends list to have started raving about it (they'll catch on), and that includes one young lady who actually resides in Swindon and who almost came across the pond to watch me portray Richard III in a wheelchair.

Ta, all.

Leave it alone or it will be confiscated by the adults.

Kitten: I am an adult. :P At least here I am. Repressive places like some parts of the US might deny that though.....

We do not repress adulthood. We just deny it with all our strength, all our soul, all our mind, etc. etc. etc. As long as you keep up your tan. And of course, no flabbiness allowed whatsoever.

Hah!

One day, we fatties will rise up and conquer you all! Provided no-one distracts us with chocolate.

Coming from the US, I find the comment about fatties amusing.

Southern Cal doesn't really count as part of the US. After all, we got Posh & Becks now.
