Hell yeah! Give me a month or so to finish my several thousand word assignments (plural) and it'll be a definite. Mr Puniverse - didn't know we were so close in this universe!
Well I did say 55+... I forgot there were hills!

Bunyip- think that answers the stump?

I think the same thing whenever I see that building. Must be a student dare to steal the 'r'. And you still can't get back that way because of the one-way system!

It was, but then AECL moved all the jobs to Ontario... :( The town is trying to get re-established as a resort and most of the people I knew have moved away, so it's always a bittersweet trip back because it looks like someplace I can recognise only if I don't look too closely, and the people are strangers. It's still beautiful, though. My parents just sent photos of the black bear in their back garden and the six-point buck in the front garden, both on the same morning, so our challenge will be to prevent our daughter from trying to hug them when we arrive (two weeks today...).

Red (rhymes with Dead) hill, Surrey. All one word. After you've written that, you really do NOT want to expound further ...

Houseinthe woods,
Thanks for that. Its interesting that Cambridge (UK) has not changed in detail. It must be that Hawking fellow mucking about with time and hitting the blind spot in the mind of God.

And for the news of Pinawa: you certainly mustn't let the children try to hug the wildlife. Children can damage anything. Actually, we don't have such things in Australia. We get feral foxes, snakes of various descriptions but mostly toxic, spiders that can kill whales with their venom, and the odd skippy. Most of the wildlife is two legged and should be culled as soon as possible.

Jazz_Sue

Is that the 'Surrey with the fringe on the top'? or the 'Who's surrey now'?

There's a Red Hill in Brisbane Qld I seem to recall. Any relation?

I'm not sure I share your view of local beasties...... !

There is also a Red Hill near Dromana in Vic.

Red Hill was also involved in the production of those great Gerry Anderson classics, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 - Wow!

Sorry, my mistake ........... That was Reg Hill.

Don't worry, Jazz-Sue, I used to live in Guildford, mrs. SkidMarks in Camberley and both of us in Ash Vale.

Escape from Surrey is possible and worth the attempt.

Yikes!

<Remembers that while at university The Cookster had a girlfriend who heralded from Camberley, who would now be 42 years of age. Desperately hopes that for the sake of avoiding potential awkward conversations with SkidMarks that the lady concerned and mrs. SkidMarks are not one and the same!>
