Sounds like a produktion whose success is not measured by the amount of applause but by the absence of cabbage and foul eggs from the stage props..,

We have the replica Globe theatre at the University in Perth (WA).

Perhaps we should campaign for such an impromptu/opportunistic event to be held there and televised so that those of us who cannot cross the Nullabor at present can see it.

[For non -Oz persons - Adelaide to Perth is 1700 road miles (`2700km); Melbourne to perth is another 600 miles (ie, 3700km) and Sydney to Perth is approximately 2800 road miles (4600 km approx). It's a bit further than say London to York, but probably quicker as you don't haver to use the M1.

From where I live (in what used to be Lancashire) to York requires a relatively short journey but a huge shift in attitude........*

I read that to my Grandmother (the one who married a Yorkshireman) and she's laughing herself stupid. Or possibly she's having a stroke.

on page 4

Did we ever get any news of how it went? Has it been repeated? Will it be repeated: How many survivors are there? Can we see it on youtube?

These questions, and many others, are of slight interest but I do like a good read.

TBH, I don't even remember posting it! I didn't attend so have no idea how it went.

Plus, Skids admission that he is from Lancashire makes me take everything he says with a pinch of salt and cannon ball across Bosworth :-)

It is not an admission - it is a proud declaration. The fact that I would like to live in Yorkshire (if only to educate the natives) or Northumbria (for access To Barter Books in Alnwick) is of no consequence.

Bosworth? Wasn't that where the House of York finally realised that it had lost and banished their leader to be a car-park attendant in Leicester?

Sorry I mentioned it!

To clear mind think of Agincourt.

Or chocolate.
