taking a 2-year old shopping is like trying to post a cat through a letterbox.

Not that I've tried that with a cat, I'm not daft.

Though I have taken a 2-year old shopping when he didn't want to. I didn't want to by the end of it.

Lesson for today: When taking a 2-year old to a supermarket, first make sure the trolley you get has a working belt clip to restrain him.

I'm Uncle Rob to a single 2 year old (well he's 2 next month to be precise). He's also very advanced for his age; to do with the influence of his godfather who has to counteract the bad influence of Eddie's dad ;-)

He can also spot a bicycle now too.

Excellent. I'll start racing him soon...

Him on his tractor, me on the Black Shadow going down your street. Probably best wait till Kate's away for the weekend...

A friend of mine, then aged 5, and his 3 year old brother, were charging around the house while some decorating was being done.
"Just got the 3 kids then ?" decorator asks his mother......

Skiffle, what's the age difference then?

I bet it's nothing much (ie. the difference between my gf and me ehehe), since Ben's the same age as Lou (21 right?) and he told me you were about the same age as me....

There ain't nothing wrong with a bit of age difference. When I was 25 I had an interesting time with a lady who was 47, iirc. Very educational.

No she wasn't married. How could you think such a thing?

Cor blimey. I'm sure you must have learnt quite a lot...

My biggest age difference is 3 years.

I certainly did. I learnt not to cook Boeuf Bourgignon with onions for anyone with ulcers, for a start.

I learnt lots of other things as well, but you don't want to know about those. He said, covering up an inadvertent double-post.

Why does everyone assume older people are more experienced?
lol

The age difference is sufficient to make me either look good, or desperate. The same may be true for PSD.
BTW: we haven't even spoken on the phone, let alone met in person, guys. Mind you it's just as well we've been exchanging messages in private..

Just go for it. Norfolk-Evesham's not that far.

I'm sure it'll be fine for all concerned...

Bea; us older people *are* more experienced, by definition. We're just not necessarily experienced in the same things, that's all ......

How old was Jimi Hendrix when he recorded 'Are you Experienced'?
Under 30, I reckon

That's the clearest pic I've seen of PSD yet (Is this a good thing...?)

You have a lovely smile Bea. And no shame whatsoever in your choice of jumpers :) I used to wear this yellow one with a multi-coloured, zigzag pattern that Mum sent me. It looked rather like an Aztec televsion that hadn't been tuned in properly.

Hendrix was dead by 27. And you don't get older than that.
