It's driving your nuts?????

Truly the mind boggles...

(PS - right idea, but if I remember correctly this one isn't an adverb, and involves a positional adjective as well - HINT --> Where would he be saying it?)

Of course, I may have remembered this answer wrong...

*Cries in anguish* Ok so this appellate brief is not going to be written. I tried contented, contently-- where am I going wrong. Another hint could help...or you could just tell me the answer...(think of my law school career)

Oh I figured it out--- it was just a matter of time. The others took no thought whatsoever though. Strange how I got caught on that one...

Well at least I can rest easy knowing I can finish this appellate brief without worrying about it so intently ;)

Doesn't the world already have more than enough lawyers?

I refuse to comment on the grounds that I'm married to one.

Better not get divorced then, Dave .....

Apparently what's hers is hers, and what's mine is hers too.

I'm assured that's the usual clause in the marriage deal.

(scans small print)

Buggrit. So it is. Still - I don't think I own anything Claire would actually want, anyway ... she certainly tries to throw enough of it away.

I'm in much the same position. I suggested leaving my cd collection to her in my will and she ran from the room screaming. I'm going to leave it to Rob instead. That'll show him.

That's not fair. I've never been *that* horrible to you.

Is anyone else having problems with the Fforum saying messages are new when they aren't ?

Yes, all of us. Every time I post all the ones that are new *since the last time I posted* go red, and if I go away for a bit and then come back I get spurious new marks as well.

I find if I post a post, all the messages are suddenly 'new'

It all seemed to be working fine this morning as I was catching up on all the threads but this afternoon (from 15:25 Fforum time) everything's stayed 'new.'

I have a way that cures all those problems...

I put a bookmark to each of the Fforums in my personal toolbar in a drop-down under "Jasper" . Then, whenever I post or look at a thread and want to go onto the next new one, I just hit my link on my browser. It gets rid of all the weird "new" messages on ones that aren't actually new. Does that make sense? Anyway, it works GREAT for me!

I want to know why the times given for the Last Post (cue bugle) never bears any corrolation whatsoever to the time posted

It's on Central European Time, for some reason. WE've never understood why either, I suppose it could be some incredibly clever reference, but it's probably just a bug...

Oh-- well I am not going to be THAT kind of lawyer-- just the kind that likes money and hurting the innocent-- oh wait...

No no no--- Im in law school for the sheer excitement of it. Oh how I wish this was true...off to do the appellate brief...one of these days I will actually finish it. And perhaps even get a good grade.
