I've just read the story in question. ("More laughter...") Oh gods! ("And even more laughter...") Thank you very much indeed for bringing it to my attention...
I wonder what Thursday would do if she wandered into that scene? The state of the computing art in her version of Earth would seem to be such that the 'Terminator' films probably wouldn't be (or have been? How old are they, now?) made there, but surely she'd have understood the basic concepts at least as well as did Miss Prudence and have been willing to help thwart Skynet's agent.
