Lost In Austen

This is a new ITV series where a woman gets sucked into 'Pride & Prejudice' and has to make sure the plot runs smoothly.

Familiar stuff, no?

(apologies if this has already been discussed, the search function gave a negative result)

Kept seeing this book at the bookstore, and meant to bring it up here. It sounds very interesting, but I think I'd better reread P&P before I pick it up. I thought it was one of those you-choose-the-story kind of books, where it gives you an option of which page to turn to next (though maybe that's a different book I'm thinking of). If anyone has read it, recommendations?

Ooh, I missed that one! What's the book called? Yes the plot does sound familiar!

Thanks,
I will keep an eye out for that one! Quite looking forwards to the new "breeches ripping" Sense and Sensability!

The fruit and similar pies are to the left - marked with and "S" for sweet. The meat, vegetable and similar are to the other left*, marked with an "S" for savoury.

* other left= the way of re-directing mrs. SkidMarks after she has mis-followed earlier directions

Also "Mummy 3" (fight between Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh? Can't wait), "Wall-E" and "Sweeney Todd"

Those last two, "Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!" The first one, not so much (for me).

Having now seen Sweeny Todd, I am looking forward to Wall-E. It was not really my cup of tea, and mrs-SkidMarks enjoyed it far more that I did. (Perhaps that is the JD factor, though)

If you see any posters or artwork where Big Ben is visible through the garret window, to nab them - they're probably rare (Big Ben is anachronistic in that period and, while appearing in some of the early promotion, was later removed from the image).

Wall-E just looks like a Johnny 5 that needs to go on a diet. I really want to see it, nonetheless.

Hello Gulftastic! Is there a specific gulf you're from? Or are you a fan of gulfs in general?
