There's a Dali-esque picnic bench in Llanelli. It's naturally just... abstract. Based on two minutes brief research, Rothko seems abstract indeed. Good though, when it's not just rectangles, cough cough.

What do you get if you contour integrate around western Europe?

Zero: There are no poles in Western Europe*

*Actually, there are some poles, but they're removable.

You know, someone someday is going to write a fantastic thesis about the possible conjunction of Jasper and Math Majors. I will step up right now and say I won't understand the half of it...

I think it's an effect of using the name Mycroft. Sherlock Holmes is a very addictive drug to some Maths people, and any connection is seized upon with a passion.

OR There's a hidden message coded into the numerical values of the letters in each Fforde title, feeding us hidden instructions and subliminal messages.

Well, maybe a quarter. But only if they stay away from the dag-blasted metric system.

Oh yes, must stay away from the system that makes ANY kind of sense at all...

Yes, let us use crazy multiples that do not allow one to use fingers very well....

It works though! Six times two handsworth of fingers.

Better than silly twelves. :P

You all just lost.

I'm the one who brought it up. I declare myself the winner. If contested, the result is decided by virtual thumb war.

I'm just hoping you don't invoke Clause 23 and steal the victory from my grasp.

I saw that too. I found it funny.

I do not believe it though.

My random name generator says 'Eskimo Joe', so we'll have to wait for him/her to join first.
