Evening all (where I am now , anyway)

I've just come back to reality and logged on and this is the first thread I've read today, and I must admit that I have not understood any of the comments and derived humour at all.

At least nothings changed, but then I studied Philosophy.

Hi Bunyip!

You came back to reality and ended up HERE? Gadzooks!

What's your favourite jelly mould shape? (For transatlantic people, I mean jell-o).

Greetings EgonSDpengler,

Favourite shape is 'mobius strip'

I often come back to reality. As was said of the Queen (not Freddie) many years ago upon the opening of parliament: One should open it, take a good look, and then shut it again.

I'm sure it is possible to create mobius strip shaped jelly, though harder to create mobius strip flavoured jelly.

It would only be one flavour surely?

Indeed. For more flavours you'd need more twists and probably paradromic rings of some kind.

What'd we win, besides mobius strip shaped jelly?

We never ate jello at our house, until puddin' pops were introduced. Then we were all over it.

What's a twinkie?

Actually, yes, tell us! I keep hearing references in movies and NEVER know what the hell they are talking about!
(And couldn't be bothered googling it)

I'm agog with anticipation!

(I'm not however 'a gog' as that would imply I were from Old North Wales.)

Do explain that comment, Dear Egon!

Do I detect the suggestion of a reference to the writings of Paul Linebarger here?

The more insular or traditional Welsh people in the north are called Gogs (a little perjoratively) and have their own variant on the Welsh language. 'Gog' is short for 'gogledd) (pronounced gog-lev) which means North.

I'm from South Wales, so I know a little Welsh.

Rereads references to mobius shaped jelly moulds.

wonders how to store them

severe attack of [?] genius

put them in the Klein bottle

wonders: will the little mobius strops begin to slef *** edit this to 'self' as 'slef' replicatiung may offend fundamentalists. Pray continue****replicate in Klein bootle?

Will they find the process enjoyable?

could they evolve into some form of demented Olympic Games(TM regd and despised) symbols?

who really cares if they still taste the same?

Perhaps we can have the next Olympic Games held in North Wales, or even western Wales, just on the Irish side of Aberaeron, but out from the wharf so the tug of war doesn't get affected.

No, it has to be Aberystwyth all the way! My alma mater will not be denied! If we could sustain a single-screen cinema we can support the Olympics!
