I feel that these comments on topics being 'on thread/off thread' have a dangerous similarity to the Russell 'Set of all sets' arguments.

Which I understood 35 years ago, but am inclined to agree with BR who, when asked why he essentially gave up philosophy at age 35, replied that he had discovered sex.
