This could be very good, or very very very very dull.

Like, Atonement dull.

I've been trawling the web for the last year for more information regarding this film. I get worried that it is going to be the latter, especially as there is so little info still about the production eg. who is in it etc. I just hope they get the characters to work and I cannot imagine how they could compress the plot into a few hours.

I want to see that scene with the cats and the candles in heads scene!

They'll probably have to finish the script before they start casting it. Is this a possibility for the cat scene?

Don't forget the pineapples!

I just reread that book, and it was just as good the second time. I'm terribly excited about the movie--I think it could be really good if it's done right. On the other hand, it could be pretty awful…

My concern is that it isn't exactly an action packed book, and the movie peeps will either be a) TOO faithful in the depiction, and the movie will go nowhere for the first half an hour, or b) go overboard in alterations and make Die Hard with magic in.

The first Die Hard was class....

I just read one of the titles to the little mini-forum at the bottom of the imdb page. "David Bowie as The Man With The Thistledown Hair". Bwahahaha. *is amused for the rest of the day* I keep seeing him as he was in Labyrinth.

Bowie was excellent in "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence".

Hmm, tights and a habit of doing tricks with glass balls are not really what I had in mind for the gentleman with thistledown hair. I do remember that casting suggestion! Including lots of people after Johnny Depp to be in it somehow!

I liked Die Hard 4! O.K. brain out, sloppy, unoriginal, poor cgi..... I don't know why I liked Die Hard 4, I just did.

Still can't get through JS & MN. Perhaps I need a film version.....

Random senseless violence, lots of explosions, people narrowly escaping said explosions, stormtrooper rifles, what more do you want from a movie? I mean really, you are not one of those people that want a plot are you?

A plot can be good.

I like Porco Rosso and that only vaguely has one, so perhaps I will just consider it as an optional extra.

Jackie Chan? That is plotless, or has a plot but nobody cares eg. The Armour of God.

Yippio-kyay?

That was Quick Draw McGraw, not Jackie Chan!

I don't think Jackie Chan even has a catch phrase, we're all too busy going wow, can someone really do that and live?!

Yes, but (shhh, keep this under your hat) it's somtimes advisable to divert Kitten away from a topic where she may actually occasion some harm (to herself, others, the world, alien races, etc.) and my reference to a cartoon show was an attempt to do this. If Neptune7 declares war on Earth as a result of your interference, be it on your own head.
