I concur with the idea of triffids.

Mutated pitcher plants also. If you can get short stemmed large bloom ones then that will get rid of most of the small dogs/arsehole children who think its good to trespass and ransack.

If these are too exotic then a good old briar rose rambling along side the fenceline will install a little public awareness of the limits of you territory.

I am not sure if drop pits are still legal. They may have been outlawed due to the potential dangers to elephants in Kent. (For those who know old jokes)

There are no elephants in Kent. They are only found in Sussex, north of a line drawn between two points, thus making it the shortest distance.

That was the first one I ever heard actually. :)

Istead of triffids, maybe this?

I am afraid that the thought of a flower the size of a blue whale's penis is too much for me.

I must go down to the shop again
at the concrete and bitumen place
there to buy some chocolate
and to stuff it in my face....

Apologies to Masefield.

Yes, lets all sing a song and think un-traumatising thoughts!

(You should see the awful rotting-meat lillies that my uncles has in his garden.. URGH, not good on a hot day!)
