we don't have names like 'Puddle under the chair' but delightful meaningful names of places like 'Caddiburrawirricanna', Wooloomooloo' and 'Didyabringyadogalong'. We have dealt with Wagga elsewhere.

The oz language is also slightly different with words like 'wheredyagetyabloodylicenceyabloodymuginnabloodyraffle?'

However, should you scrape up enough for a passport and a one-way ticket I am sure that the fforumites of the great south land would welcome you into their lives and homes. That is, if we have any after the current interest rate rise.

I always wanted to visit the towns called Gluepot and Flourbag. We have some hilarious place names here in Australia.

'Course, unary isn't as good because it can only represent positive integers. Any other (positive integer) base can represent any (positive) real number. Obviously.

You see, to use unary you just draw the appropriate number of lines or whatever symbols you choose for the number you're presenting. It's just tallying really.

But with trinary you can count to scarily high numbers on your fingers, assuming reasonable flexibility....
